Jewelry worn with Intention

The word “Mala” means necklace or garland in Sanskrit. Sacred Buddhist Mala prayer beads have been used for centuries by many spiritual traditions as a tool to help to calm the mind, center oneself and connect to the best that is within us. However, you don't have to be religious or have any spiritual practice. We believe you can simply wear them as a reminder of an intention you've set. Using Malas as a tool to inspire you to be your best-authentic self or to simply wear them as beautiful accessory.

Traditionally Malas are made up of 108 beads, the number 108 has a great scientific significance. The circumference of the sun multiplied by 108 is equal to the distance between the sun and our planet Earth, and the same is true for the Moon and Earth. There are 54 Sanskrit letters, both masculine and feminine, totaling 108. Also, it has been said that there are 108 energy channels in the body. The list goes on and on! Which is why the same sacred number is used for Malas.

There is no wrong way to choose a Mala. Let you intuition consider the color, size, and intention! You can chose to activate your Mala by weaving your an intention into the beads. Activating this energy into your Mala beads will protect you, guide you in daily life, and will serve as a constant reminder of the divine within you.
